Will they ever build it?
I have an ambassador membership with lifetime free training.
Of course as is there way, they are trying to upgrade my membership for $1200 to Commander level with a bunch of memberships to sell or give away and free staying at the hotel.

I talked to them today and they say the hotel is 18-24 months away.
Snowballs chance in He double hockey sticks?

My understanding is that before they could build the hotel, they needed to do some further range building. I suspect it will definitely come to pass as there will be a casino/some gambling within this hotel which will be a revenue source.

I hear stuff about them now and again. FWIW I THINK they would love to have hotel up and running. It would be HUGE moneymaker. IIRC they have run into issues getting permits, water, sewer.....

IMO if they had even basic hotel (bed, bath, TV, resturant) Set up Van from airport, some extra stuff in evenings... Should be a much bigger gold mine then the range itself. \

If the dang place was closer I would get membership.

Just throwing out my initial thought here...gambling establidhments typically involve alcohol, and are prone to violent outbursts from people who have large sums of money tied up in a game. Accusations of cheating and whatnot escalate quickly. Doesn't seem advisable to intentionally throw firearms into the mix. Does not sit well. Now on the other hand a resort where multiple ranges are set up for educational purposes, general target practice, and competition does sound very interesting...especially if they had a helicopter shuttling folks to and from ranches with hunting guide services, or trout streams to fish...even selling access to prairie dog towns would be related and interesting. Gambling...not so much.

I also can't see casino angle. From folks who have been there I understand it's a full day. The drive to area hotels seems long.
So a clean, comfortable place to crash, soak and basic chow... Ok extra pts for well chlorinated hot tub...suna... Folks want to drink can bring their own.

Sometimes I wonder if we deserve to have any freedom at all.

Having been to Las Vegas a few times I've seen the drunkenness, but never any problems with angry people at tables. I'm sure it's happened, but I don't think we should be afraid of what could happen and not have guns on the premises. That sounds like the gun control tools.
They have secured all their permits and are in the process of moving the range for utilities.

Larry, where are you from in MN. I'm near Gilbert.
I have a few lifetime memberships that I can sell. The Diamond level goes for 15K on the website. However no one ever pays that much. I'm getting $500 for them.
MSP has flights for $200. Duluth used to have them for $90, but they stopped flying to Las Vegas just this summer...

I think a hotel and casino would be huge for them. A place to bring the wife while the guys go shooting. Maybe guns aren't a good idea if the wife has the credit card...

For it to be a good hotel for the wife, it would need a day spa and other amenities. When I've gone to FS, it's either by myself or with my brother. We would appreciate a FS hotel to save us the 45 min drive to and from Parhump if the premium weren't too big. The drive isn't that bad and we have been there enough where we like to eat at a variety of different restraints in Parhump. If I were to take my wife, we would be staying in Vegas so she can pamper herself.
