Inventor denies dead cat fuel story

"It's an alternative fuel that is friendly for the environment. But it's complete nonsense to suggest dead cats. I've never used cats and would never think of that. At most the odd toad may have jumped in."

A spokesman for Bild told Reuters the story was meant to show that cat remains could "in theory" be used to make fuel with Koch's patented method.

The author of the story said Koch had never told him directly that he had used dead cats as the story implied.

So no realistic data on Miles Per Cat.

Sounds kind of like thermal depolymerization. I'm still procrastinating writing the city and asking about getting a plant in the area. It would cut fuel costs in half, at this point. And it would serve as a stabilizer. With fuel available, worldwide chaos would have less of an effect on the area. We hae factories, farmland, etc, I think all we're really lacking is a pharmeucuticals plant, to produce medicine, and a source of raw materials, though I don't know that that would be a big problem.

Somewhere around here, I have an old copy of that great book, "101 things to do with dead cats". I suppose its time to update the book. Fuel from dead cats, what a wonderful, innovative, and practical idea

My personal proposed solution to the problem has always been to round up a couple of lawyers & politicians. Keep 'em in a cage. Beat 'em daily with copies of The New Republic, & use the by-product as fuel.

A simple heat exchanger keeps the bleating & smell away from the living quarters. I happen to like cats.
