Anybody out there have one of these? I bought one Thanksgiving weekend and have found that it's real sensitive as to the belt you use.

If I wear it with my Sparks 1 1/2" gunbelt, everything's cool. If I wear it with a no-name 1 1/4" belt, it's uncomfortable and the holster doesn't stay in place well.

I know, "wear it with the Sparks belt". One of the reasons I bought it was to have a little better concealment with my normal work clothes (Dockers / Slates / etc.). The Sparks gunbelt, while looking "okay" with them, doesn't look quite as well as I would like.

While I'm not a slave to fashion by any stretch of the imagination, I'd like to have something that looks good and works for concealment purposes well. Other than getting a different holster and belt combo, any ideas? I thought of having the straps modified for 1 1/4" belts, but it looks like it's be difficult (read expensive) and therefore not worth the time, effort, or money to modify it.

I know BladeTech advertises a gizmo that modifies their belt loops for different width belts. Anybody know of anything similer for leather loops?

I have a Summer Comfort for a S & W Model 60. I consider it an "okay" holster. It does the job but it's nothing to write home about. It does seem to shift around easily. Mostly, I dislike loops that are on the holster itself, rather than offset. I believe offset provides a more stable platform and a narrower configuration that assists concealment. In particular, the snubby doesn't need the added girth. I've yet to find a holster for the Model 60 that I'm wild about. I don't know anything about the belt modifying gizmo you talk about.

The Galco Summer Comfort has 1.75" loops, so anything smaller than 1.75" is going to cause the holster to have alot of forward and rearward play. Not only that, a smaller belt would cause the holster to ride farther down into the pants than orginally designed which would cause it to become uncomfortable because the reinforced holster mouth is now pinching you.

If I were you, I'd look into a 1.75" gun belt that tapers to 1.25" in the front.

Besides, you're going to have to wear a covering garment of some type with a IWB holster anyway.
