Garand in the $700 range?

Yup. Just keep an eye on the various gun forums. Most people sell them for around $700.

For example, a member on Calguns.net posted a 5.8 mil for $600 last night. Sold in 20 minutes.

Speaking of Garands, I really need to order a couple rack grades and receivers. Haven't ordered a Garand from the CMP in almost 4 months.

Clyde Armory in Athens has some really nice ones in the high $700's. I imagine they would come down a bit with some haggling.

I've found and bought two for between 600 and 700. They are out there...

Went to the FT Wayne Gun & Knife show in January and saw several in the $600 to $700 range. There are currently 3 advertised in our local Free Ad Paper for $650, $795 & $825 from 3 different sellers. So , yes they are out there.
