That is just a big knife, not nearly long or heavy enough to be use the way I use my el-cheapo home built machete. The idea of clearing brush along a trail with that looks fatiguing. I like some of the other multi-tool offerings but am sort of Leatherman fanboy. Not sure what I would use a butterfly knife that large for. To big for fine work not big enough for machete work. YMMV
The homebuilt corn-cutter/machette. Started life out as a blank cover in a larger instrument rack for an old shaker table.
I could see maybe someone that wants to store it in there pack like a casual hiker or camper. I do like its USA made. I wish they would make the Flat Iron in the USA then id buy one
