This, and several variants of the same email (including the uniforms being purchased on eBay) are known fake.

There are places (Snopes, etc.) where you can go to check this stuff out before posting it.

Reading a thing doesn't automatically make it so; repeating it doesn't necessarily make it any truer.

Rbernie's sig wins. It's pretty reasonable to assume that if the email were genuine, it would simply contain a link to the alert on the DHS website. Last I checked, the government doesn't spread important notices by chain e-mail.
