Looking to set up for a Ruger "Baby Vaquero" in .32 H&R, .....for obvious rea$on$,...the Hornaday 90 gr SWC is what I'll likely load,...over a standard small pistol primer,...but I can't seem to find any load data in my antique Speer ReLoading Manual for the .32's.....I'm using Unique for .38 Spec. & .357, as well as for .44 Spec./44 magnum,....would like to stay with the same powder for commonality,...unless anybody's got a better suggestion?

My Questions:...

1.What charge of Unique would you recommend for the .32 H&R?

2. What's the best Reloading Manual available today that covers the .32 H&R, .32 S&W Long,..and .32 S&W?????

I already have good data on .38/.357/.44Spec &Magnum.....thanx for asking.....

What say you all?

Modern Reloading (Lee) lists 3.4-3.7 for a 90grn wadcutter.

This book also lists loads for all three of your 32 calibers with 90 grain lead bullets using HP38. In fact, HP38 appears to be the most versatile powder for these three loads in all bullet weights.

I looked at lots of manuals, and for an "I'm only going to buy one manual" person it works really well. It's basically a collection of manufacturers' load data, and only runs about $16.
