Was wondering if anyone could recommend a good dvd/vhs for someone intersted in getting into realoading/handloading?

There's a lot out there and I would love to hear what folks found helpful or not so good =P

Also, new vs. used in reloaders? Dillon's products seem like a really good value new, but should I buy a used reloader if it looks to be in good shape?

Planning on reloading .38/.357 for both SD and target shooting.

I would say the type of press depends on how much shooting and reloading you need to do. Loading pistol I wouldn't recommend a single stage press. A Lee classic turret complete setup will run around $250 to $300 and let you load around 200 rounds per hour. That is what I load on. If you want to load more per hour then you are going to want to buy a Dillon or Hornady LNL AP, they seem to be the most popular. You will probably be into one of those for around $500 to $600 and will be loading 350 RPH and up. The faster you want to load the more it cost. The good thing about buying a Dillon used is the warranty is so good they will fix the press no matter what happened. The down side of that is it's hard to find a used one much cheaper than a new one. If you decide on the Lee classic turret check out www.kempfgunshop.com and if you decide to go Dillon check out www.freakshowbullets.com. Adam at Freakshow has Dillon kit setups for beginners.

I am a reloading newbie and have the Sierra Intro to Reloading DVD with Doug Koenig. I have found it to be very helpful. He spends time with both a single stage and a progressive press. Only complaint is that I wish it were longer.

I watched it 3 times, read The ABC's of Reloading (as well as some load manuals) and then jumped in.
