After retuning/refitting my extractor and installing an extended ejector to solve some ejecting ploblems, I'm ready to go ahead and start finding what JHP's my Kimber Stainless Compact likes the most. It had some feeding issues with a box of Winchester 230 gr. white box JHP's while ising the stock mags. I've since switched to Wilson Combat magazines. Since it is reliable with FMJ's, I'm interested in trying out the Pow'R Ball 165 Gr.+P's in it to see how it likes it. How many rounds of this stuff do you think it will be needed to ensure relibility for defensive purposes? I'm having big 1911 withdraws and decided to start shooting it again within this past month and would like to start carrying it again. I have a Milt-sparks VM-II that I'd also like to get some use out of to.
