Giraud Powered Case Trimmer

I lusted for a Giraud Powered Case Trimmer for quite awhile. I finally bought it. Got it yesterday. Set it up today and went through a bucket of 308. Fast.

I have mixed emotions. Half me is ecstatic over the trimmer, the other half hates myself for not getting one sooner.

If your looking at one just buy it. You won't regret it.

I bought a WFT, held off buying it because I thought I have a trimmer (Hornady hand crank kind) and the WFT was sort of pricey.
First batch of brass I was going boy I wish I would have bought this sooner. (money well spent!)
While it does not make trimming brass "fun" I no longer dread having to trim a bunch of .223 cases.

So there are good solutions to that pile of untrimmed brass.

I have the Giraud Tri-Way Trimmer head which I chucked up in a buffer motor from Harbor Freight. Had a buddy build a frame and then I added a footswitch. Heaven!!! Way cheaper than the "real" Giraud as well.

I have owned a Giraud for awhile. It works great w/ .308 and .30Carbine (if you buy their chuck). I did 3k Carbine brass in only a couple days time. You can see the chuck setting on the trimmer.
