So today I was tire kicking at the local pawnshop and they had a brand new, Girsan MC312 HD semi auto 12g. I put it layaway as it was the last one on the shelf and i have been needing an additional HD shotgun. Has anyone shot one themselves? Buds videos look pretty convincing but I was wondering if anyone had any real experience with them.

before the cov-19 hit i was looking at them, grice gunshop had them on sale for 359.00 and iu was going to go up and get one. but the cov-19 closed them up. if they work as adversized they may be a good deal,

It was 399 so I jumped on it. The action is butter smooth. Some reviews have called it a poor mans benelli m4.

Haven’t held, shot or ever seen one. The only thing I can say is Girsan makes a decent 1911, especially for the money and and I haven’t heard anything bad about their shotguns.

It is like this one but this particular one does not have the rear sight

Are you saying the one you have in lay-away has a rear iron sight and the one in the photo you posted doesn’t?

The one i have in lay away has no sight but a picatinny rail. And the raised front sight

That’s what I’m thinking. I just called to make sure no one lost it or it’s not in someone’s pocket but apparently that’s how it shipped. Either way I can’t wait to bring it home next week

the one i wanted was a field-hunting grade with a vent rib with beads-choke tubes. i looked at one at the sportsman show held in harrisburg pa, but could not buy it as it was a display model. they said they are going to make a 20 ga too.

So I couldn’t wait took the money out the savings and bit the bullet so to speak I can’t wait to shoot it C07BD796-ED9C-41F3-91D9-D13DC9ACC466.jpeg C07BD796-ED9C-41F3-91D9-D13DC9ACC466.jpeg 4DB856A2-62FD-49AD-A86D-468CC0CAE5D0.jpeg 3260CBFE-A4D4-433B-A0DE-42AFA9796166.jpeg

Looks like a picatinny was machined into the top of the receiver, is that correct? The picatinny isn’t a separate piece fastened to the receiver with screws?
