Glad I did this... saved some money too!

I started reloading as a 12yr old using a Lee whack-a-mole kit and 2400 for .256 winmag. I love 2400 but I haven’t been able to buy any for a solid decade. I have been forced elsewhere and h110 was my landing spot. Can’t go wrong either way.

I've gotten some good results with IMR4227, but noticed unburned powder a lot.

IMR4227 really likes a full case... that was the mistake I made when I first tried to use it... starting loads were just horrible. Like a 2-stroke motor, IMR4227 likes to be 'up on the pipe,' which means full case. It is not a very clean powder in any event, much like AA5744.

In my 357 Magnum revolvers... nothing beats the accuracy of 2400 powder in magnum loads ... and I've been testing them since 1971 ... always looking for something better ... haven't found anything better ... yet !
