For a while I've been on the lookout for a lever action rifle just for the sake of having one, since I use to like shooting Dad's Winchester 94. A guy I work with had an intresting piece for sale. It's a Glenfield Model 30 Golden 50 in 30-30 win. It looks just like a Marlin 336 but it's a Glenfield. The only Marlin markings on the rifle is, "The Marlin Firearms Company, North Haven, Conn. U.S.A". I find very little reference to Glenfield Model 30 Golden 50 anywhere on the internet. Any Marlin/Glenfield collecters with any info are welcome to chime in. It's used and I had to reblue the steel and refinish the stock but for $100 I thought it would make a good truck gun. Just a little saturday morning show and tell.
