I got one of the first Glock 17 MOS pistols that came in to my LGS. I had a Trijicon RMR (RM06) red dot sight waiting for the Glock to come in. The 17 and 19 with MOS were just released, but several other Glock MOS models came out last year.
The beauty of this gun is the supplied 4 adaptor plates that fit in the milled cutout on the slide of this gun to allow mounting of sights from various sight makers like Leupold and Trijicon.
Glock supplied the plates along with a set of screws for aftermarket sight mounting. Trijicon also supplied two screws with my RMR for mounting, but these screws are not Glock specific.
Long story short, the Glock screws were too short to mount the red dot, and the Trijicon screws are too long. After I searched the internet, Trijicon makes a specific kit to mount the RMR on a Glock MOS pistol. It worked perfectly but I wished I had known it upfront to avoid time waiting on another part to arrive.
Just wanted to give y'all a heads up if you were planning to set a gun up in this configuration.
