I'll look it over, but I will not buy one. Primarily b/c I just traded for a nearly new Glock 21 and it's really not too big for my mitts. I'm satisfied with it, so I'm going to keep it. Too many other guns on my acquire list to consider the SF as a duplicate "just to have" gun.

they need to make one the the 19 size... then i would become a stocking not so dealer... i can imagine it now... one for the boat, car, livingroom, bedroom, range gun, one in the kitchen (the evil kitchen  ), and then one to carry

I am a Glock fan, no doubt about it. I have several of them. This thing is ALL hype IMHO. I wouldnt take it over a regular G21 or any other for that matter. Its just another Glock and sadly, an answer looking for a quesiton for most of us.

I heard it does not take the same mags but a new 45 mag because the mag release is abi...

Regular 21 mags won't fit

also the trigger is CRAP!!!!!!! just had to add that... it feels heavier than a reg glock trigger and a very crappy crunch-bang

I have a G21 and it fits my had fine, so I see no reason to get another.

Well I gave it a good stare today and :barf: prehaps thats to harsh more like :uhoh:

Slim grip? No way... I felt very little difference between it an a 21 next to it at the GS today...if you think the 21 grip and feel is to fat...this gun will not likely win you over...If you are a 21 fan now you will like this gun, but then what's the point?

The XD 45 feels like a 9mm grip the 21SF grip feels like a 21 grip.

Not a fan of the XD's but wanting another .45 (I've owned a Glock 21 and two Glock 30's, previously), I scoped out a Glock 21SF today and honestly, I wasn't impressed.

It did feel a bit smaller than the G21, but I'd be lying if I said I had a problem with the thickness of a 21. I'm not a big guy but my hands aren't very small, so the G21 fits me fine. The 21SF has that unsightly rail which I personally see zero purpose to other than to openly modify these new "Gen 4"s, if you want to call them that.

Personally, I'm going to go back to the regular Glock 21. I like the standard rail and although I'm an ambidextrous shooter, the ambi-release isn't enough for me to have to scope out special new magazines and holsters for a firearm that isn't exactly an improvement of the original.

The 21SF is good for those that want the newest and best, but I'm sticking with what I know and that's a standard Glock 21.

SF=SHORT Frame

Actually, the SF stands for "Short Frame". I guess they mean the grip is shorter "front to back", which it is. But I agree...I think "slim frame" describes it better.

I will have one soon.

If they intro one close to their mid-size frame, I'd give it a look but in a fullsize, my heart is spoken for

I have a GLOCK 21

I own a G21. It is my main carry, and road trip weapon. YES - the trigger = a bit heavy. I have elected not to change the trigger out for an aftermarket kit. As is, I don't see me squeezing off a round because of a 'light trigger'.

I must say - I didn't purchase it for 'LOOKS". I bought it for the reliability.

Got one and love it. It fits better than the original 21 that I just sold. I like the new rail and ambi mag release.I have to admit that the trigger does feel heavier than other glocks but I feel it just needs to be used and broken in.

thanks for sharing, btw can't you just get one of the 3.5 triggers and drop in there?

i forget how long is the barrel?
should be 4.61 inches like the 21 right?
