I have heard that the G22 can be converted to fire not only the 40 SW, but also 357 sig and 9mm.

The conversion in done by changing to a different barrel. One for each caliber.

Does anyone have any experience with this ?

The conversion from .40 S&W to .357 Sig is just a mater of buying and dropping in a barrel for a Glock 31. Either a Glock original, or an after markey barrel from a company such as Lone Wolf. You can even use the same magazines.

To convery a glock 22 to fire 9mm is only slightly more complicated. You will need a special Conversion barrel (DO NOT just use a barrel ment for the glock 17). Conversion barrels can be purchased from several aftermarket barrel makers includeing lone wolf. You will also need to Obtain glock 17 magazines to properly feed the 9mm round.

Hope that helps.
