I have been shooting a Springfield Armory xd-9 sc for the last six months. I have found that I actually shoot my glock 32/23 better than the xd. That having been said I have decided to go ahead and trade it on the G26. I've been searching the internet looking for issue on the Gen 4's because my local gun shop happen to have both in when I visited the other day. My question is has anyone heard about issues with the G26 gen 4? I can't find any that are not a personal preference (grip angle/stippling etc.) If this was addressed in another thread please let me know. I'm still relatively new here and I am still learning the system. Also, please don't flame me/beat me up/etc. about drinking the cool-aid and what not. I tried not to be married to one brand but the glocks just work for me. Thanks for your help guys.

I own one and haven't had any issues with it, maybe 300 or so rounds downrange so far. It's my preferred carry weapon when I can dress to conceal it.

I've also got a G22 Gen 4 (.40 S&W full-sized) which has been flawless through about 500 rounds, both 40 and 9mm using a Storm Lake conversion barrel.

Not a lot of rounds, granted, but no problems with either Gen 4 for me.

I own the Gen4 G26. It is my primary CCW, I shoot this gun a ton. A little over 4,000 rounds through it without an issue. I have heard of no issues with the G26 in Gen4.

Unlike the larger Glocks, the only difference on the Glock 26/27 Gen4 pistols is the texture on the lower, the backstraps, and the mag release. The G26 has always had the dual recoil springs, so they are not having the issues that the larger pistols are having.

I just bought a Gen4 G26 about two weeks ago, love it.

Thank you for your replies! I appreciate your help. I will be completing the trade/purchase whatever within the upcoming week assuming of course they don't sell it before I can get to it.

Two buddies just purchased Glock 26's in the last couple months. They love 'em. No issues whatsoever. Both are Gen 4.

You're right, Pastor. There is no other handgun more loved and hated than the Glock. Mine are great. I don't understand the naysayers.
