Glock G36

Hi,

I've got a G36 and would like to know if I need special ammo to shoot with this pistol to the range?

Nope.

In fact being a Glock, it should feed anything you stuff in there. I've fired the 36 with both JHP and FMJ of various manufacture and experienced no trouble of any kind.

Thanks for the info. I am just wondering if the G36 handle the same 1911 loads.

I am not familar with polymer guns, and just want to be sure I can use the same cartridges.

The only bullets you should not shoot a lot of (without deleading) are all lead. Most factory ammo is jacketed anyway, but lead bullets are popular with handloaders.

I don't shoot anymore with lead bullets, it is a pain of the butt to clean guns, I use to use differents TMJ, FMJ etc.. and I found the FMJ 230 great to shoot.

Then you're good to go.

The only thing I've shied away from is lead bullets...otherwise, Glocks are good w/ everything

Ammo, other than lead, isn't a problem with the G36; your grip may be.
