Anyone have a GLOCK knife? Just curious if there made like the pistols. I know there are better knives out there just want opinions on the GLOCK knife.

Just curious if there made like the pistols.
Don't know how they make them
A simple Steel blade, polymer grip, bottle opener, sawtooth or not, plastic sheath, inexpensive. Comes in a couple of colors. Can be thrown.

What's not to like? Thick blade... which may be good for prying leverage.

Worth $32.00? Maybe. I bought mine years ago. Would not cry if I lost it.

Prefer the KaBar.

To expand on the issue, I like the profile of the Ka-Bar much better. It is suited to how I like to sure a blade. For example, sometimes I like to push on the back of the blade to get more leverage when cutting fruits and vegetables, you can't do this with a sawback. Plus, the profile of the Ka-Bar just allows it to slide through things much easier while cutting. And I like my sharpened clip point. YMMV.

What no kitchen knives? I like the Ka Bar knives but I rather have a kydex sheath.

haha! I actually use a Dexter-Russell Chinese chef's knife in the kitchen now but for years it was my Ka-Bar. I also don't carry the chef's knife when I'm out in the woods. Using my non-kitchen knives is a good study on their cutting/edge-holding/edge-taking/etc. abilities. I even use my Benchmade 42 in public when I'm eating a steak. :p

The blade is carbon steel, so it rusts. No tennifer.
The blade can be made sharp, but it comes ground like an axe.
