Gonna give McCarbo a shot to accessorize my SUB2000

Purchasing a vertical grip and a folding platform for a red dot to put on my SUB2000.

Read the reviews about these McCarbo parts and they are mostly very good.

I was once at a gun forum get together & shoot and a guy was nice enough to let me try his 9mm PCC. It was a hoot. At 75 yards or so, with the red dot, I was able to pretty much hit all of the bottles, cans, and other targets on the first shot. I do not remember the model & manufacturer of that particular rifle. However, I recently acquired a KeLtec SUB2000 and want to see If can set it up to do the same thing.

Any McCabo experience out there?
 
I did a full makeover on my S2K using his parts and it was well worth the price. I have a thread about it here on the THR if you are interested. I think you will be happy.
 
MCarbo's Sub 2K heavy bolt and recoil buffer are very good.

That carbine can bite a bit, because it's a 4 lb rifle with 1/4 of its weight flying back and punching your shoulder. It's kind of a similar recoil feeling to an AK, lots of reciprocating mass. The bolt and buffer slow it down, and they make a noticeable difference. Both are money well spent, to the point where you almost wish they came stock with the gun.

MCarbo also sells a rubber cheekpad to fit over the bolt tube. It's cheap and comfortable to have, so I'd recommend it as well.

And I also bought a muzzle brake from them, just to make my gun look cool. I wouldn't say its performance is worth $70, but that brake plus a 33rd Glock stick mag make the Sub 2K look like a bad-guy SMG from an 80s action movie.

I’ve purchased several accessories from them over the last several years and they have been of high quality, mainly spring kits
 
I purchased the Mcarbo version with all the upgrades already installed and am very satisfied with it. Trigger is much better than stock, and I feel much better having the OEM plastic feed ramp replaced with stainless steel.

I also added the Mcarbo optics mount, it is very solid.

The Mcarbo butt pad is mediocre, Missouri Tactical Products has a slide on rubber pad that works great.
 
Bought an Mcarbo CZ75 stainless steel guide rod to replace the factory polymer. Has a nice thin ring at one end to make the guide rod and spring captive. Nicely manufactured, looks classy when field stripped, and works fine.
 
Ive used quite a few mcarbo bits and pieces over the years. No issues and I'm quite happy with what I bought.
I currently have the trigger, springs, guard, heavy bolt handle and other random crap in my S2K. Guns fun to shoot, and the m carbo upgrades made a difference.

Same, shock buffer for the Ruger PC9, spring kits for the Beretta M9, Kimber Micro 9, guide rods for the CZ-75, AR 15 stuff, etc.

I am another satisfied user of select M*CARBO products. :thumbup:

MCARBO is great. Great products and great service.
Bought parts for my Ruger PC Carbine and springs for my Smith & Wessons. I bought some of their tools. I ordered their bench block for working on pistols. The thing is ugly, but it is so handy.
