Spend time dining out in the South and you might be asked what kind of “coke” you want with supper, and “Pepsi” is a legitimate answer
And accurate tools to measure preciselyyou need precision tools to measure accurately .
This is true, however…
Pepsi may be an accurate answer, but precisely no one in the south drinks that yankee swill.
Folks are often happy to be wrong. But such doesn’t make them right.
Accuracy at 100 yards has been acceptable to me, averaging sub-MOA, but precision, well, not good. A general pattern seems to be low and left.
My firearm averages .750” for 5 shot groups but the centers of the groups are 1” below and 1.5” left of my point of aim. My optic is graduated .25” per click at the same 100 yards my groups were shot. How many clicks over and down do I need to match POA with POI?
may i add follow-through to your list of things to try. a lot of shooters move more than just the trigger finger when shooting. pretend being a statue when pulling the trigger.LOL !! Thanks guys, I think this thread has sufficiently been derailed!! I do appreciate the participation, though. Glad I could serve as a springboard! In doing some dry fire practice today ( no worries, used expended brass from my previous range trip ) I noted a lighter trigger pull by altering slightly my finger position on the trigger. Seemed to hold on target better with no gun movement. Also, I found that I could turn one of the action screws WITH MY FINGERS it was so loose! Snugged it down. Hopefully my zero isn`t too far off but this needed to be found!
