I just got home from Inverness FL and a visit to HNR Gunworks, (352) 503-6285.

I picked up my 1948-ish Colt Police Positive Special in .32 New Police that I left them to work on.

Timing had gotten so bad that neither simply pulling the trigger for DA nor thumbing back the cylinder for SA worked without jiggling the cylinder with the off hand and it was not locking up when the trigger was fully back.

Their in house smith got it working great in both modes and I fired it at a friends on the way home and am VERY pleased with the work. Three of us shot it and pronounced the work excellent.

Everyone at the shop was a pleasure to deal with and I felt I got more than my moneys worth.

If you have a Colt DA revolver you know how hard it is to fins someone that knows what they are doing inside a Colt and I am here to tell you it seems the folks at HNR Gunworks are the folks I will be taking any Colt DA revolvers with issues to.

If you live in the Florida Peninsula they are well worth the drive and other folks with Colt issues can call the number I posted above.

Give them a try!

No they did not pay or bribe me to write this! I am just super happy with the work and cost.
