Does anybody know of a good smith who works on Sigs specifically, or just somebody you know who is really good with semis as far as trigger jobs and what not? I would go to a local smith but I dont know any personally or by reputation, and online you can always find out about people who are masters of the trade all over the nation. And that, to me, is worth all the shipping costs and wait times.

Im looking to buy a Sig p220 Elite Equinox for my carry gun, and Id like to double action to be about 6-7lbs versus 10lbs. I also would like everything polished interior wise.

Thanks guys!

Those over at sigforum consider Bruce Gray (see xanathar's post) as the premier Sig pistolsmith to go to for any issue.

Lots of positive feedback over there if you're interested in reading about his work. He offers a variety of services and service packages and everyone seems very pleased with him (I've not tried him yet, but I'm strongly considering it).

Had this same question running over at another forum and I had three members say the same thing, Gray Guns. Im sold.

Thanks for your input

Grayguns should be your #1 choice (I sent them my P226ST). You could also check and see what Sig offers - sometimes they may have a decent deal.

One quick comment is to lighten the trigger pull you can look at changing the mainspring. You wouldn't want to go that light as it could cause light strikes, but usually people report that dropping it a few pounds can make a great difference on the felt trigger weight without any negative effects.
