I know I can't have guns shipped to my doorstep, but I do know that there are sites that will ship to a local FFL. What are some good ones to deal with?

I can definitely vouch for www.budsgunshop.com

They're out of Kentucky, saved me over $100 on my Beretta M9, were very knowledgeable, helpful, and processed my purchase in an expedient manner.

Give 'em a shot...

+1 on Bud's Gun Shop. I've purchased from then before and always gotten exactly what I ordered. They can be a little slow to ship, but you'll be happy when it arrives.

+1 on AJC Sportshop. www.ajcsportshop.com Technically, I didn't purchase through them on-line, but good people nonetheless.

The rest of the story... I saw they had a RRA stripped lower at a good price and sent an email, seeing if they'd mind bringing one for me to the Austin Saxet Gun Show (they're located about 4-5hrs away).

Though they didn't get their full order (and it was significantly delayed) from RRA, Alan said he'd bring one for me to the show at the internet price.

I had previous plans, so I couldn't get there till late on the last day of the show. Sure enough, they'd had numerous inquiries and higher offers for said stripped lower, but they held it for me (and I hadn't paid a deposit or anything!).

The whole deal motivates me to look there first when I'm in the market for anything they might carry. (In fact, saving up for a Kimber Ultra CDP, as we speak, and they'll get first look.) They're definitely the first table I'll head to whenever I visit the gun show again.
