Good "Pattern" load for Speer 44 shot capsules???

I just uncovered several boxes of Speer 44 caliber shot capsules which had been "Missing" since moving nearly 3 years ago. I don't remember the powder or charge I used the last time I loaded these gizmos, only that I used standard 300 CCI primers and #9 size shot. Have any of you folks found a powder/charge combo which seems to shot consistant patterns with these capsules? I do have most all the powders on hand recommended by Speer and various other sources.
Maybe little or nothing is to be gained by experimenting with different powders, primers, etc. Any experience you care to share would be appreciated.....

I loaded up 50 of these capsules with number 8 shot and Speer's recommended load of Unique several years ago and this cominnation has served me well. I usually load my first chamber of my S&W 29 with one shot cartridge when I take my pistol for a walk in the woods.
