Hey guys. I am looking for a good pocket holster for my Colt Mustang with the lasermax laser attached. I have used a number of custom holster makers in the past, but none have the mustang w/laser listed on their gun list. I double checked by emailing them, but no luck so far.

Ideally i would like a custom made holster with exotic skin, but really any good holster recommendation will work

Your request is so rare that it's unlikely you will find even a custom maker that has a pattern or gun (model or real) that is necessary to make what you want.

At least 3 options are possible:

Find a local maker and lend the gun to him long enough to make the holster

Make the holster yourself (It isn't that hard too do).

Contact the laser sight maker who may be able to provide some leads.

Side note: During his younger years the Old Fuff was always coming up with oddball handguns. Usually no one made a rig, or if they did the cost was way beyond his financial means. :what:

He soon learned to make his own.

For the cost, I would gamble on a Mikes #3 pocket holster.... IM looking at mine and can see that the forward trigger gaurd laser would fit nicely..
I can show you some photos.... I modified this holster with the hook and loop side of Velcro tape.. I supper glued it on so that when I put this holster in my pocket it stays in the pocket... I can see a feel there is enough room forward of the trigger guard to allow for the laser. because this holster is not as form fitting as a fully formed leather holster.. I love this holster,, its light weight, inexpensive, and protects the gun from wear, and protects the trigger completely.
This fits both my Kimber ultra carry 3 inch 45 ACP and MY Bersa 380 Thunder.. both have crimson laser grips.
this holster is under 20 dollars.. Ive used it for the last 6 years... and I love it..I have about 20 holsters, from ankle to armpit.. from 20 dollars to 260 dollars... and I love this holster.. Ive been carrying for 50 years. the last 35 as a civilian, the last six in the pocket... I would never go back to any other form of carry.

if you need other views, I can accommodate... if you notice, the bottom of the holster is squared off, allowing room for the laser.

IN this shot you can see the top of the holster.

The holster is also lined but I have designed a waxed paper insert to allow and even faster exit from the holster. Like I said, I have been honing my carry skills over the last 50 years..

Here is my Kimber in the pocket and in the Uncle Mikes...I don't care about printing, I live in an open carry State and I am the right body type to pocket carry concealed.
I pulled the grip up slightly to show that my Kimber is actually in the pocket

here you can see there is plenty of room for the laser.
