So, I'm going to admit some things about myself that others might not like or may make fun of me for but its all good.
Being the Ruger fanboi that i am, i picked up an SR1911 today. I will say i was a bit apprehensive about doing so considering its new in production and i was hearing some issues about the parts not being de-burred.
After looking it over and giving a good cleaning, i don't see the burring issues others have talked about. Maybe i got a good one, or they started cleaning them up on the line.
I really don't know about 1911's as this is my first one. Obviously it breaks down nothing like my SR9. That's going to take some getting used too.
Anyway the main reason for the post was to see if you guys wanted pictures of it. Assembled, broken down, etc. I know its pretty new, so i figured if i could help the community out by sharing, id be more than happy to do so.
Maybe you guys could help me learn something in the process.
