With alligator or crocodile holster plus tailored Italian suit that piece has potential.

Much finishing went into that fine piece and it shows. With fine light colored suit and some Gucci Envy for men he is likely going to turn heads.

I don't know if the effect was intentional, but the reflection of yourself taking the picture in the first two photos really accentuates the finish.

If you do shoot the gun make sure you hold it sideways. I'm pretty sure it's the only way they'll shoot without jamming.

Very nice. How much did it cost to have that guys face etched on the slide?

You Left The Stove On...

Or, your window is down in your truck & it's raining... Can I be any more clear?

Okay, that is what you'll feel like if you don't shoot it. If you want to keep it in a safe, it just as well be mine. Send it over...

I do however, understand what you're saying. It is a beaut!!!

That is a beautiful looking Colt. I don't blame you for considering to keep it as a safe queen.

When our Lord Jesus comes back to clear out the money changers at the federal reserve, I'm quite sure this is the piece he'll be carrying.
When I saw this gun I had to turn the radio off.............. I hear singing............
"Hark the Herald Angels sing, bang bang bang goes the bling bling bling................"

"When the Lone defender of freedom changed his magazines, the reflection blinded half of Satan's army, and when the next magazine found her place in the universe, evil had finally seen the light................"

I'm just teasing man, take me the right way, not the wrong one. This is in fact one of the most beautiful guns I have ever seen. Really, it's very, very nice. Congratulations, you have ruined the self esteem of every gun I own.

I don't normally like shiny guns, but that Colt is beautiful. Very nice. I suddenly don't feel like bragging about the Sig 220 I picked up today.

Very nice. I like pearl grips and nickel plate.
General Patton was stating his OPINION, not a fact. Opinions are like bungholes, everyone has one and most of them stink.

Besides, how many New Orleans brothels did he patronize in order to come up with his opinion? Or did he just pull it out of his arse?

I would probably shoot it, but not with the pearl slabs on it. I'd replace them with wood, rubber, plastic, whatever.
No point in taking the very real, very probable risk of cracking those nice pearl slabs.
Heck, put some fake pearl slabs on it for shooting, and put the real thing on for BBQ use.
Although you also risk cracking them when you reinstall them, if you overtighten the screws.
If you just barely snug them you should be okay. It's not like the grip screws are going to shoot loose if you're not shooting it with them on.
