Got my 30/30 threaded, then shot show happened

Finally got my 30-30 threaded for a can. It came back to me on Saturday. Then shot show happened, and there's stag, Henry, bond arms, aero precision, marlin, and maybe one or 2 others with threaded lever guns.

Oh well. Mine's prettier I suppose.

The lever gun market is getting a LOT of love recently. I'm good with that, but did not see all this coming.

The bond arms and henry have potential as sbR's in 300 blackout. A locked closed action and a fairly fast cyclic rate, yes please?

Details about what? The new stuff or my old gun? Mine's a 336 in 30-30. I put new stocks on it, cerakoted the metal, then gave it an action job.

marlin had a version of the 336 with a straight stock and squared lever. they called it the texan. there are nuaces to all that the guys on marlin owners understand and I don't. either way, I like it and it's a bit different.

this is how it started it's new life with me.

That was my point. I spent quite a while getting this one ready, and less than a week later, not one, not 3, but like 6+ companies release threaded lever guns.
