At my stand this evening and he seemed to be the oldest. hes ok, i'd guess a 140-150 score. got him with a Bowtech Guardian LH 70# 27" draw, bee-man speed 3d arrows 340 spine, with triple fold out 1 1/8th inch broad-heads from muzzy i think, cant remember. shot at 20-25 yrds he trotted about 15yds and fell dead. strait threw both lungs and nicked the heart.

You said it was your first buck, but you didn't say if it was your first bow kill. All I know is that first bow kill feels nice... much more gratifying than a rifle because it's so much more difficult. I'm still not over mine (last week) and can't wait to add #2. Also, it's great when they make it easy on you, isn't it? 15 yards? Mine ran about 80!

Niiiiice!!!! COngratulations! See guys, you don't have to wear camo to be a succesful hunter.

it was my first bow kill. i never wear camo in Kansas those coveralls are the same color as the grass.

Can't beat it, congrats. Never missed a doe, and missed the only buck I've seen in bow range last year (also my only miss!). I thought he was a lot further away... Turns out he was just bigger than i thought.

Using a recurve this year. Haven't got a shot yet but have had more fun than ever.

Nice! That's a pretty darn good first buck....with a bow too! Good job! You earned some fried tenderloin! Are you going to mount it?

he scored 142 Unofficial from taxidermist. i am just gonna do a skull cap mount on a plaque.
