Well as the title says I got my new Hornet Customs drop on trigger group. I have put about 500 rounds down the pipe with the new trigger installed and am very impressed. It is like night and day compared to the factory trigger. I could not be happier with it and look forward to shooting as much as I can with it. For $92.95 it is a steel compared to the KIDD and Volkstead. While Those two might be better I do not see them being $100-$150 better than the Hornet Customs. I am sure I will get someone in here saying that the KIDD is the best on the market and not to buy anything else but the Hornet fit the bill for me and I am happy as a clam. At this time I would suggest it to anyone that wants to improve the factory trigger with a complete drop in trigger group for under $100.

You have to be careful comparing this stuff because the Hornet is just a tuned factory trigger, while the KID is manufactured all in house on CNC equipment with letoffs as low as 3oz/6oz for the two stage and an adjustable range of 1.5-5lbs for the single stage. It IS the best 10/22 trigger but it is not for everybody and certainly not the only game in town. So while you might be totally satisfied with your Hornet and it is indeed a good value, someone looking for a 3oz/6oz trigger would not be. The KID costs a lot more but it is still a bargain for what you get. It's up to the shooter to decide what is appropriate for their budget and application.
