1. What kind of stock is that, how much is it, and are they available for left handed actions?

2. What process was used to "engrave" your name on the barrel?

Longest range I have to go to is 580 yrds but still looking for longer...

Stock is a B&C (Bell & Carlson) paid $400 new they only have them for the Rem 700 and the savage and yes they do have them in left hand...If you go to snipershide.com look up Gunner75 he is the one the did the R&D for the stock he works for B&C.......I love the stock...As for the engraver that was done by my Gun Smith in Utah....I can give you his # if you want or need it.......

Reaper, I have a left handed Remington 700 VSF in .308 which shoots better than I can. The barrel is fluted like yours, but yours appears to have a heavier contour than mine. I like the stock on my rifle OK, but I wish it had either a higher comb or an adjustable comb like yours. Right now I have a Beartooth neoprene sleeve on my butt stock with a foam rubber insert under it to raise the comb height a bit. It works OK, but it looks cobby as hell on what is otherwise a nice looking stock. A system like yours looks like it adjusts more easily in that plane, plus it is nice to have the adjustable length of pull.

Nice looking rifle. How long did it take?

I just dropped my 308 off with the smith 6-8weeks for a scope mounting. (Long story needs a custom base made for it.)

The Annoyed Man: I love the stock I think it has a better feel to it than my buddy's A5.The L.O.P. is nice to have also it is adjustable in-out,up-down,left-right.The cheek peace is adjustable 3"
