I haven't shot my SIG P228 in 14 months. It was the first pistol I bought when I regained my interest in friearms in the late `90's. I took 300 rnds of Ga Arms Canned Heat and box of Fed Permium JHP out to the NRA range and proceded to work out.
I guess I just had a great day, because I just couldn't miss much of anything. Everything just grouped well (3" or less). I shot at 5, 7, and 10 yards, and I just plain old couldn't miss (just doing basic target drills, no holster work). My worst flyer was only 2" out, even shooting weak hand. I'd give a bunch of credit to the pistol, the P228 is just so good to me (I haven't practiced in 6 wks), but it's just a very easy gun to shoot well for me.
Life is good.
