I'm planning on loading some 200gr JHP for my 44 mag with this powder. It was with a bunch of stuff I bought a couple of years ago, still smells good / no reason to believe it's not usable.

Question is: is the data in my Lyman manual good for 2400 of this vintage? I know some powders have seen changes over the years.

Yes. In fact if they have not recently re tested 2400 its likely the data was developed on that vintage.

Old powder as a gift.

After complaining at the club that i cant find any 2400, a guy gave me this a week later. Just loaded a few test rounds from this old unopened can of 2400. In 357 mag, with 163 gr home cast lswc at 13 gr, mag primer, it seemed OK. Have yet to test for accuracy.
