I went into a gun shop in Camden, SC a few days ago to ask about blackpowder supplies. The owner said that he was selling off what he had and directed me to a small shelf where he had a few items left. Among the disorganized items, I found a set of Butler Creek Ruger Old Army stainless steel nipples and 7 tins of CCI #10 percussion caps. He sold me the nipples and the 7 tins of caps for $12.00. I left happy.

Not only is that a great deal, but if the CCI #10's don't fit well [too tight], you have a new [free] set of nipples that can be adjusted to fit them.

Have you ever tried the CCI #10's before?

I have tried them and they fit just fine on my Piettas and my Ruger.

nice buy the 10s fit my uberti perfect, i think its a 2017 or 18.

Cci 10s fit stock pietta nipples just fine...atleast on my guns, they also fit the inexpensive stainles steel RMC ox yoke nipples that i prefer to use with home made corrosive percussion caps...but cci 10s wont fit my slixshot nipples, the caps are just too small. U found a great deal IMHO.
