As much as people complain about gun shows and gun stores, I know I've found a diamond in the rough. Especially for the Fayetteville/Fort Bragg area.

Today I was transferring my EoTech and Wilson Combat back up iron sight to my work M4. While screwing on the BUIS it cracked. I was pretty mad but figured the guys at Wilson Combat have a pretty good reputation and given the fact I'm about to deploy would fix it for me. I figured I'd stop by Shooter's on my way home from work. I'd bought the sight from them and knew they'd have a phone number for me to call. They one up'ed me. They called, got Wilson to get a quick turn around, and sent it off for me. Here's the best part--they didn't have any more Wilson BUIS so they gave me a free Knight's Armament loaner until mine comes back.

Outstanding prices and even better service. These guys will have all of my future business as long as I'm in Fayetteville.

Yep I have always heard great things about that shop when I was at Ft. Bragg and then I transfered to Ft. Livingroom :p . Anyways what unit are you in? I was in the 3/229th AVN. BN. as a 67R Apache attack helicopter crewchief/linechief, hence the name. Of course if you are a Bragg baby you have got to be Airborne right! Anyhow glad you discovered that shop and stay safe out there.

crewchief,

I'm with 50th Signal BN. I'm going to drop a SFAS packet when I get back which will hopefully allow to be the best kind of Bragg baby! FYI, they just got Longbows here at post. And, I missed out on a Chinook jump today because I had to go to a M4 range. There's just no justice...

That rocks. Now, keep doing business with them, even if the prices are a little higher, its worth it to keep the little guys in business. They will remember the way they helped you out, so the best way to remember them is to keep spending money there.

You mentioned you are about to deploy....good luck, stay safe, and most importantly...thank you!

Depending on how the vote turns out, I might go ahead and buy my "year-in-Iraq-gift-for-myself" before I leave from them. I nice new Bushmaster in .308. These guys are good people and will get my dollars. Even though they have great pricing I've always put my gun dollars to the store that deserves it, regardless of price.
