has anyone slugged the barrel of their Henry Big Boy 357 Magnum
and found their groove diameter?

I have a S&W 686 revolver that loves .357" diameter bullets much betterer than .358"
It would be sweet if the Henry liked them too:D

I plan on slugging the Henry - I'm just curious if anyone has their diameter and would share.

thanks in advance

You may have better luck posting this in a different sub forum like "rifle country" thats all the help i can offer

Knowing someone else bore size would not matter since every gun is unique to it's own. Even 2 barrels coming off the line next to each other can be different.

As far as fit normally 0.001" over bore size work for most. Now with shooting lighter loads the softer 12 BHN bullets are better then the harder 18 BHN. Then again with a rifle you have to have enough lube to make down the barrel, not a big deal with a short barrel hand gun.

thanks for the replies

it was getting sad!

I could try a different sub forum, but i would think only reloaders would match the bullet diameter to the groove diameter
