There is going to be a furor about more gun control laws being necessary.
If you get an opportunity to have a discussion regarding this, here is a question or two or three that you should ask.
If the purchase or exchange of all guns and ammunition were banned effective at midnight tonight, can you unequivocally guarantee me that I will be, from this point on, absolutely safe from gun violence?
Here is another. Has the fact that we have thousands of federal and state laws on the books regarding the control of firearms made it safe for me to be a student on the campus of VT?
The fact that the Commonwealth of Virginia defeated a proposed law two years ago to allow citizens/students with ccw permits carry on campus made the campus a safe place, how?
