"Gun Crime" commercials on TV

Have any of you noticed the increase in these public service-type announcements on TV lately?

I have see several today and about six or eight different ones over the last few days. The ads all have the same message: If you commit a "gun crime" you go to jail.

The ads are paid for/sponsored by the Ad Council and Project Safe Neighborhoods.

Do you think there is a hidden agenda behind these ads?

I haven't noticed an increase on TV, but I've noticed a HUGE increase on the radio...Theres always a hidden agenda.

I don't know what the hype is for. I've never seen a gun commit a crime.

Do you think the increase in these gun crime ads and the AIDS awareness ads is directly related to the Democrat majority in the House and Senate?

The Ad Council is also pushing anthropogenic global warming commercials.

Makes me ill to think the government is using my tax dollars to fund this crap.

Gun crimes? You mean like shooting out your neighbor's windows with a Daisy Red ryder? That would be MDOP with an airgun!

"You commit a crime with a gun, you go to jail."

That's almost like telling criminals that they should commit robberies and burglaries with knives, and then they wont' go to jail if caught.
