Anyone know Hillbilly Grips? I sent him a gun he said would take 8 weeks. It’s been 17 weeks and still nothing. Is this guy a fraud?

A few years ago I showed the owner of our LGS a pair of 1911 grips I had made and he said, "wow, you could sell these". There was even a customer in the store that asked me if I would make a pair for him. Everyone and their dog makes 1911 grips and I don't want to work cheap enough to break into the market.
Honestly at my age I just don't want to work---at anything and, truth be told, I can't hold out to to much of anything anymore. I just spent 3 1/2 hours pounding on a piece of leather for a holster I decided to make and my back is killing me now and I was sitting down. I'm going to take a couple of super tylenol, fix an adult beverage, and hit the recliner in just a few minutes.
