TUESDAY, June 10 (HealthDayNews) -- At least one statistical study now confirms a popular belief: Keeping a gun in your home greatly increases the likelihood that you'll die from a gunshot wound.a study in the June issue of the journal Annals of Internal Medicine.

This is a paraphrase of a study similar to ones I've seen before. The study will say something like:
"if there is a gun in the house, there is a greater chance of death by gun..."
the liberal egg-sucking media will then write something like"
"if there is a gun in your house, there's a greater chance that YOU'LL die from a gunshot..."
While the study is probably VERY accurate, they do not make the distinction between joe six-pack defending his 3 daughters from a serial rapist during a B+E (which is more common) vs. joe six-pack's toddler getting at his service revolver and blowing his brains out (which rarely happens).
And the NY Times wonders why they are the only ones shocked by Jasoon Blair...
