This is a big case. Ironically not about guns specifically but a law protecting gunmakers from frivolous lawsuits such as this one.

Some opine that the Connecticut Supreme Court will be overturned with the addition of Kavanaugh and Gorsuch which is good that this came now and not earlier if it is granted cert and ruled favorably for the 2nd Amendment.

I hope this will be overturned. If it isn't I think it would open up other businesses to legal liability issues , like magazine manufacturers, accessories such as optics, handguards, fore frips, buttstocks, and even ammo companies as well.

Well I suppose if people can sue gun makers for making and/or marketing guns that are used to kill people, then I should be able to sue fast food restaurants for making and marketing food that makes me fat. Heck, I might even sue car makers for making and manufacturing cars that result in me getting speeding tickets.

I understand that there is probably more to the case than what meets the eye. However, the point remains that regardless of the product, it is the consumer who is responsible for how it is used. It sets a dangerous precedent when we remove responsibility from the perpetrator of evil and shift it elsewhere.

This will be the fifth or sixth time this has popped up on THR--which may illustrate the fractured nature of how we are disseminated news items; or how we process them.

Last I heard, they are still in retrial motions, and there's months yet to go before the barristers engage each other in court.
