Other people have the odd anomaly When Shooting with ammo - not when they are just dry-firing, or chambering a round then cocking the hammer back with a thumb (thumb, instead of blowback action): which is my 83's situation.
It would take too long to explain what you can easily find on Google under "CZ-82/83 Single-action trigger issue",
but to summarize, DA also works fine, and the blowback action somehow Forces the hammer's parts' to "interface" in some manner to always allow the Single-Action trigger to function as it should (so far). All 150 rounds have operated perfectly in the SA mode via the blowback recoil etc.
* This is mostly so that other 82/83 owners, or Future owners are aware that a worn part (1 of about 3-5) can cause it.
This is not very common, but just make sure that somebody with a top rating checks the SA trigger pull before they ship you the gun.....
** People who haven't read much about this surplus gun probably won't understand.
Fortunately, the Czech engineers made the 75 and 85 series quite different.
