Funny thing about that photo of Yul Brynner with Steve McQueen was that supposedly in exchange for an expanded role (more lines and more scenes), Steve McQueen was asked to "school" Yul Brynner in how to handle a single action revolver the way a western gunfighter would do it.

I have always liked the original Magnificent Seven. The sequel with Denzel Washington was not nearly as good. The best Western ever was The Wild Bunch. I still like Open Range with Duvall and Costner, as a second.
