Ok, Come on guys! Post any and all ranges your aware of in the nashville or 2 hour driving distance. I'm trying to sort out just how many there are.

Here is what I know for certain:

Gun City (downtown nashville store/indoor range)
On Target (murfreesboro, burned down about to reopen)
Violia valley rifle club (triune, 15 minutes from tullahoma)
Smyrna airbase occasional rents its range out to a very select group..
Big Springs (trap/skeet only, someplace around m'boro)

A group in galliatin has a range, but its limited membership. No idea where they are located or under what name the are known.

Rumors:

Hearing there is something out on highway 41 outside of m'boro.

So, anyone else have any or corrections?

The Viola Valley range is in Viola (Warren County), south of McMinnville.

Priest Lake Gun Club has access to the National Guard range at Smyrna airport.

Big Springs Sporting Clays is on Big Springs Road, off Hwy 41 SE of Murfreesboro.

Gallatin Gun Club's range is on the premises of the Gallatin Steam Plant on the Cumberland.

Stones River Hunter Education Facility and range is on Hobson Pike in SE Davidson County.

Stones River, TWRA range off of Mt Juliet Rd. about 15 minutes south of Mt Juliet.
Cheatham Wildlife reserve has a TWRA range but it is closed because some knuckleheads shot it all to hell.

Acadamy of Self Protection, (aka ASP) in Joelton. Off I-24 at exit 35. 12 dollars for all day passes basicly. Decent behind the counter guys, decent stock, and decent range.

Owl Hollow just south of Nashville on I-65, think exit 64, down highway 431 a bit. they have a website. Pretty nice outdoor range, like 80ish i think for a yearly membership i forget.

Owl Hollow is off I65 @ exit 61, dues are $40 / year

Ustelton's Sporting Goods has an indoor range, I65 exit 97

Guns and Leather in Greenbrier has an indoor range

The Shell Shop in Hopkinsville, KY has a decent indoor range

The others have all been previously mentioned.

BTW, no silouhette (sp?) or humanoid targets at Stone's River HEC.

Frank
