FYI for those in the Houston area. I went by the Pasadena gun show today. A lot of people there. A lot of people carrying guns in the door. Looked like a good variety of gun and ammo tables. One guy had Yugo SKS's for $109. I saw some Russian and Chinese SKS's and some Yugo's w/o the launcher stuff. For a small show that it is, it seemed to be a good one.
I was looking for a little ammo so the 3 bulk ammo tables made me happy. One guy had all sorts of imported ammo. All the Wolf ammo and South African .308 you could want though the Wolf was a little more than in the past. I picked up a RRA EOTech Dominator Rail as well. I have been wanting one of those so I could have some back up iron sights again.
Has anyone shot PMC 7.62 X 39 ? I saw one table had it in bulk. I picked up a few boxes to try it. I think I will go ahead and order some of that Yugo ammo instead. I have to mount my Tech Sights aperture site on my SKS this weekend so I expect to be burning through some 7.62 Russian soon.
