1. .223 Galil with OD color stocks.
2. Dual Glock 20 10mm's w/ OD frame, and threaded barrels for suppressors
3. Bayonet on loaded .223 Galil, so that after I thrust, I pull the trigger :neener:
4. Sawed off 12G Chrome shotty

Hmm

1 FN P90 (you did say Stargate right :) )

2 Detonics Combat Master (h*ll might as well make it 2)

3 Arnies knife from commando

4 Just to be patriotic a spitfire. or if it really must be a gun a Sten :)

Stephen.

I always get a kick out of these threads.

Period Weapons

1)Winchester 1897 trench gun with sword bayonet

2)Two S&W .357 Magnums w/6" barrels (post 1935)

3)Big Bowie knife - at least a foot in length

4)Bergman MP-18

Non-Period

1) M-4 Carbine with all the accesories

2) Sig 220

3)Big Bowie Knife - at least a foot in length

4)MP-43/44 (well sort of non-period)

I'll Play...and I even speak Chinese, so that won't be a problem! :D

1) FN F2000 with Grenade launcher

2) Dual Glock 18's (I was going to say one Glock 23, but then you mentioned dual handed John Woo style...) I'm also very tempted to go with some nice 1911's instead...

3) Emerson CQC7

4) German FG42 Fallschirmjagergewehr (2nd model)

Badwolf, what's the FG42, is that a beltfed?

PS, if you get casted, when initial contact is made, natives will speak Chinese, but will somehow become fluent in English by first 40 minutes of the movie.

Skunk, the FG42 was an automatic german rifle. It was fed by a 20 round magazine. It shot 8mm, not the kurz, but the full on rifle rounds. If they had produced alot more of those, they might have done better against the garand...

1) M4 masterkey. For those who dont know, thats an m4 that has a shotgun where the m203 would normally be. Very picturesque, and original.

2) USP .45 w/ nickel slide x2. And gimme some of those 31 round mags, if you will. Both carried in crossdraw, of course.

3) SOG Seal Pup. One WICKED looking knife. In the boot.

4) I was thinking one of those naval lugers, with the extended barrels. I use it once I beat up the Kapitan of the Kriegsmarine sub they are using to bring me to germany for a thorough interrogation :D

1. 7.62 Valmet with wood stock, handsomely stained of course.
2. The "Strike CQB" 1911, from ZM weapons (Al Zitta?), from the July/Aug 1994 Am. Handgunner issue. Complete with skull crusher, stand off extension to prevent going out of battery, and a hammer shroud to prevent anyone/anything blocking the hammer fall. Mind you, not because I think everything's practical, but simply for a movie gun!
3. Jensen Elite blades - Eternal warrior
4. Browning BAR

Can I be the damsel in distress carried off on a white horse by the knight in shinning armor?!

In other the words the hot chic who the main character rescues, falls in love with and carries off in the hottest car ever made?

Or do I have to help in the escape and be his cover while he makes an escape route for us?

If so
1.) Twin G19s for each hand and lots of spare mags
2.) and one of these Hadhafang

:D

1. WW2 era springfield '03
2. S&W .500 Magnum revolver, but with a 6" barrel (not like we show recoil properly in movies anyway, so what the hell) with attached scope. Also, one old looking milspec 1911. It should look rusty with the emphasis on old, but shoot like a racegun.
3. Knife? The badguy won't fight fair and I'll have to take him on bare-handed against his knife.
4. Remington model ??? shotgun. There was one that saw some action in WW2, can't remember which one, but a shotgun it will be. Not even sure it was a Remington actually...

Colt M16 Commando, flattop with EOtech sight.

Colt 1911, customized

MadDog Knife

Period weapon: the first assualt rifle, MP44 or an FG 42. Well, then again, footage of an MG42 running at 1200rpm would make a good scene.

Dramatic effect trumps all other considerations, since we are talking about making a movie not actually having this happen to you. Thus:

1. One of the "shorty" Dragunov variants that were briefly marketed as hunting rifles. "Tigers" I think they were called.
2. A pair of Claridge Hi-Techs. Monkey them up to cycle blanks full auto and I'll make Robocop look weak.
3. A Chilean military corvo. They are absolutely unique. Visually impressive too.
4. A Lewis gun. The infantry one with the fat barrel jacket.

1921 Thompson submachine gun w/ 100rd drum magazine.

A matched pair of 1911A1 Colt .45's in leather shoulder holsters worn under my leather aviators jacket.

10" Bowie

captured weapon? I will take a C96 Mauser pistol w/ wooden buttstock holster captured from some Chinese bandit.

Hey Skunk,

Winstonsmith answered the FG42 question already, but just for additional info in case you're curious, the rifle was used by the German paratroopers, hence its name which translates to paratroopers rifle. It was produced in two versions...the first version had a very slanted grip, and the second version had a more traditional looking grip.

Also interesting, it was developed amongst interservice rivalry and politics and ended up being designed and made, if i remember correctly, by an aircraft manufacturer rather than a firearms manufacturer. Also, it fired semi-auto from closed bolt and full auto from an open bolt!

1. SiG550 with a 40mm grenade launcher, Leopold CQT Mark4 scope surefire light and laser setup
2. twin glock 23's with gemtech's SOS-40 suppressors, night sights
3. a kukri
4. hmmm........a samuri sword. and a vicious matrix-esque/john woo style fight ensues.

Ok, I'll play too.....now this is a good fantasy thread!!!

1. M-4 Currently issued to our troops. (I know, I know) ;)

2. Wilson-Stealth .45 ACP (What else)

3. Ek Commando (My favorite combat knife)

4. 1903 Springfield (I'm a Marine, we're born expert rifleman with these)

1.a) On the way to the civilian range, out of my steel locker: HK SL8, several wooden boxes full of ammo with 69gr SMKs, bags full of 30rd mags.
1.b) On the way to the military range, out of my sgt. major's bus: HK G3 or - better still - Rheinmetall MG3. Hey, you said I'd have unlimited ammo! :D
2. Glock 17L, Bubits shoulder stock, lotsa 33rd mags.
3. 8" Ka-Bar Black Tanto or Applegate-Fairbairn Combat Smatchet.
4. Hmm, when did the Japanese invade China, before or after 1940? More precisely, at what point in time will I be? I guess I'd take an MG34.

1. AAI CAW Since it is a movie, it will always work. Tweleve round box mag full auto 12 ga. shotgun. It will of course knock enemy soldiers through walls in a movie.
aaicaw.jpg

2. 4" Ruger GP-100. Nothing screams "American" like a revolver, especially in a movie. It of course being a MAGNUM, will also knock foes off their feet.

3. Cold Steel 1917 Cutlass. Gotta take on those wakizashis indoors. Black 28 inch blade and a handguard for those glass jaws on the enemy.

4. Nambu Pistol. I'd plug the barrel and mess with the sear for my surrender scene when I am captured in the movie. As I am about to be executed with said pistol, it explodes providing a diversion.:D

Long Gun - Ppsh, with the drum mag

Handgun - custom longslide 1911a1 Blue with a detachable stock like a Artillary luger and a extended barrel.

Knife - a nice long blade bowie with a brass back and hilt.

Pick up gun would be a 7.62 Luger 6"
