Is a four digit serial number s&w m36 no dash worth more for being 4 digits? Im looking at one thats 4***. Doesnt have original grips, and the finish aint perfect... (85-90), what would y'all say its worth. I'm looking at a 300 dollar price tag... I'm thinking its fair but I'm no expert on smiths.

If it passes functional inspection (good lockup, no pushoff, good firing pin, etc.), I'd think $250-300. Not a cent more than $300 though.

Hard to say from your description without any pictures, but if it checks out mechanically, I’d say $300 is a good price.
