Gunnies and pickup trucks, revisited

Hmmm. Haven't voted yet. My owned vehicle is a pickup, while my wife's is a van. But I put far more miles on my employer-provided SUV, which I use for commuting and business-related travel. So is that a vote for the pickup or the SUV?

My primary vehicle is a car.

If my truck got better gas milage, or I lived closer to work, my primary vehicle would be my truck.

I'm actually thinking about buying a 4cyl ranger or something so I can have a truck (although not as much of one) to drive everyday and get decent gas milage. The problem is, I already have 5 cars in various mechanical conditions that I dont have time to work on, and I dont need something else to break.

MY primary vehicle is my Honda Civic. Archerandshooter's is a Ford Ranger pickup. I do more driving and need a car with really good gas mileage, which the Honda certainly has

Its a decent enough pickup...the Edge makes a damn good diffrence and doesn't drop the gas mileage down..I am on the 91 Octane tune right now and am enjoying the lower gas prices for the time being.

Don't even call my 1986 Isuzu Trooper Turbo diesle a SUV! I hate that term! It's like calling a Hemi Cuda a "sports car"! NOT! Anyway, rant over I have,

1995 Taurus SHO (325bhp) 165mph, 14.23 1/4 total sleeper!
1987 Ford Probe with thirty three hundred original miles on it
2003 Honda CRV, yeah THAT is an SUV!
1986 6.2 l Diesel Blazer 4wd
and my builder, 1967 Belvedere that will be a GTX clone with a 528cid crate Hemi, and either a 5 speed or tricked out automatic as I am a Mopar freak thru and thru.

The troop or Civic are my daily drivers depending on weather and road conditions, oh and I have 5 motorcycles.
