Colt would not be able to sell enough to make it worthwhile.

I have no doubt that Colt could produce a gorgeous modern rendition of the old New Service. I have no doubt that if they did, I would buy one. I also have no doubt that it would be very expensive and limited in quantity. I also have no doubt that it would be very difficult for Colt to produce such a gun and turn a profit.

It's still a nice dream.
